Vision, Mission, Goals

VISION: To serve as the resource and representative for facility management in the Central Kansas area.

MISSION: To guide and advance the professional development of all Facility Management Professionals in Central Kansas.

GOALS:

Goal 1. Support Facility Management professionals by offering opportunities for professional development.

1. Offer relevant education through monthly programs, facility tours, library, seminars

2. Provide forums to promote networking and information/knowledge sharing.

3. Encourage and promote professional certification

4. Foster an environment that promotes networking and relationship building

Goal 2. Create a greater awareness for facility management within the business community providing a forum where people are connected with the association and profession.

1. Membership growth and retention

2. Communication with FM’s superiors

3. Create a symposium focusing on issues important to facility management.

4. Evaluate possible opportunities for participation in trade or vendor shows.

5. Gain visibility within our market

6. Increase promotion of facility management, the Chapter and its activities.

7. Enhance alliances with comparable organizations through joint meetings

8. Develop a member retention program

9. Establish succession planning
